Did you know that the real James Bond was Icelandic?
The Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre is presenting the world premier of Intrepid by Alex Poch-Goldin, January 13 – February 6. Intrepid is the story of William Stephenson described as “An action-packed spy thriller recounting one of Winnipeg’s greatest heroes, William Stephenson, who became Churchill’s spymaster and the inspiration for James Bond.”
Are you dying to find out more about Winnipeg’s own William Stephenson, the man called Intrepid? Join us for an evening with Dwight MacAulay, past president of the Intrepid society and expert on William Stephenson. He will share stories about the real man behind the moniker Intrepid.
