The INLNA 100th Anniversary convention is over but won’t soon be forgotten. It was a resounding success. Thank you to all the presenters, the Icelandic Canadian Fron convention committee, the Icelandic National League of North America, the consul general of Iceland in Winnipeg, Þórður Bjarni Guðjónsson and his wife Jórunn Kristinsdóttir, all the people who attended the convention and the Fairmont Hotel. Special thanks to President of Iceland Mr. Guðni Th. Jóhannesson and First Lady, Eliza Reid and to Pétur Ásgeirsson, Ambassador of Iceland to Canada and his wife, Jóhanna Gunnarsdóttir for joining us in Winnipeg. Here’s to the next 100 years.
