We currently offer 2 grants to youth in the community who are participating in the Snorri Program or the Icelandic Camp.

Icelandic Canadian Frón Snorri Program Grant

Amount: 500.00

Criteria:

  1. Applicant is accepted into the Snorri program.
  2. Applicant is a member in good standing of the Icelandic Canadian Frón.
  3. Applicant is actively involved in the Icelandic community.
  4. Applicant’s permanent address is in Winnipeg.
  5. Grants will be awarded to a maximum of 2 participants per year.

Icelandic Canadian Frón Icelandic Camp Grant

Amount: 350.00

Criteria:

  1. Child is attending camp as a regular camper, a day camper or junior counsellor.
  2. Child has a familial connection through a current membership in the Icelandic Canadian Frón or the Scandinavian Centre.
  3. Grants will be awarded to a maximum of 2 participants per year.
  4. First priority will be given to new applicants, second priority will be given to participants who have been sponsored in the past based on the number of years that they have been sponsored.
