The Icelandic Canadian Frón is hosting a fundraiser for the Lögberg-Heimskringla Hidden Treasure Project. This project is aimed at highlighting the paper’s office space on Marion. The interior office space is great but the exterior needs work to make it shine. We are very proud of our newspaper and it is fitting that the exterior of the office reflect this pride. Currently, there is a blank sign with the street number below it and no sign on the building itself. The office can be difficult to locate if you’ve never visited it before.
There are many ways that you can support this project. An easy way is to attend the fundraiser on November 15th at the Scandinavian Centre.
